WIXOM, Mich. – In 2020, ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions opened the company’s Quality Excellence Center.
The facility is helping to boost ZEISS’s business. It consolidated four ZEISS operations in southeastern Michigan.
The center is used for the company to work with customers on special projects and training. The facility contains various ZEISS machine models.
The building was designed by ZEISS. The center has open spaces and faces toward wetlands. There are even telescopes to permit employees to conduct bird watching.
Separately, ZEISS is conducting educational programs. A company team is helping schools develop a curriculum for metrology. ZEISS is providing discounted metrology equipment and training. ZEISS also is supplying free software for educational users.
