Despite numerous short-term challenges, the long-term outlook for the global manufacturing industry is positive, according to market intelligence firm Interact Analysis (IA). The company’s latest quarterly Manufacturing Industry Output Tracker report released in September forecasted an uptick of 0.6% for 2024, with “more substantial growth” expected in 2025 and beyond.
