Rockwell Automation Inc. and Plex Systems, developer of cloud-native smart manufacturing platforms, have entered into an agreement whereby Rockwell will acquire Plex for $2.22 billion in cash.
The U.S. manufacturing economy continued to cruise in June but was held back by a lack of labor availability, the Institute for Supply Management said today.
