ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Zoller Inc. used a three-day open house this week (May 9-11) to reach out to customers, demonstrate the company’s capabilities, and discuss boosting efficiency.

The company makes tool measurement, presetters, and management systems. Its customer base includes industrial firms in the auto industry, job shops, aerospace, and tool manufacturers.

“The workflows need to be connected,” Alexander Zoller, Zoller Inc.’s president, said at the start of the May 10 session at the company’s Ann Arbor, Mich., facility. “The devices need to be connected.”

Zoller said his company opted not to hire additional people amid labor shortages.

“We want to see what we can do to improve our internal processes,” the Zoller president said. “We accomplished more with the same number of people. 2023 may be our best year ever.”

The open house incorporated presentations from customers.

“It’s important we learn about your challenges,” Zoller said.

Joseph Forsyth, director of advanced manufacturing at Intech Medical, described how his company adopted Zoller Inc. tool management system.

Forsyth said he wanted to provide insight concerning the issues involved. “I put myself in the shoes of everybody today.”
