Because there is no room for error at high altitudes, Radiant Power Corp, a subsidiary of HEICO, demands the highest levels of quality and reliability.  Radiant Power’s products include emergency power supplies, electrical power control and distribution, flight deck instrumentation, passenger comfort and cabin products, underwater locator beacons and emergency locator transmitters for commercial air transport, business, general aviation, and military aircraft.

Since relocating to their Bradenton/Sarasota facility in 2009, Radiant Power has expanded its business through new product development as well as business and product line acquisitions.  Radiant Power’s team consists of product development engineers, manufacturing and quality engineers, business development/sales and marketing, and a full range of operations, quality, and administrative personnel.

Radiant Power’s manufacturing processes are focused on final assembly and testing, while teaming with key vendor partners for subassembly and component-level production tasks.  Operational excellence is achieved by implementing key quality and production metrics throughout the manufacturing environment.  The production area is organized in product-centric work cells which contain the assembly, testing and quality team members to help minimize part travel and improve team communications.  Once a new product is indoctrinated into Radiant Power’s supply chain and manufacturing processes, on time delivery and quality metrics exceed most customer’s expectations.

In-house engineering and design capabilities include mechanical and electrical design, and software engineering.  Engineering is organized in product centered teams which are responsible for all design and development activities utilizing the latest design and virtual modeling tools.  Radiant Power has several in-house test capabilities, including electrical, thermal, and a unique underwater acoustic testing facility.
