LEO Lane, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based software company, has entered a partnership with HP concerning 3D printing.
LEO Lane has developed an application that enables users to track part quality. The company was selected by HP as a partner in a program that enables tracking of parts through final printing. LEO Lane’s software works with HP’s software.
“We were selected as a very, very early partner” by HP, said Lee-Bath Nelson, co-founder and vice president of business for LEO Lane. “We prevent a lot of operation errors.
LEO Lane has developed an API, or application programming interface. “It was very easy to integrate” with HP software, she said.
HP has emerged as one of the major players in industrial additive manufacturing printers. Nelson said LEO Lane’s new ties with HP will be a boost for the Israeli company.
“It’s very exciting for us,” she said. “We knew this was coming.”
LEO Lane was founded in 2014. According to LEO Lane, customers identify which parts they want to 3D print and establish how they should be produced. LEO Lane software also protects a customer’s intellectual property, or IP.
