At each stop, Hexagon subject matter experts (SMEs) will engage with local manufacturers and engineers to explore emerging technologies and strategize digital roadmaps to achieve each company’s autonomous potential. The Make It Smarter America Tour will offer a multi-faceted menu of demonstrations, seminars and training to help users gain actionable insights to move their digital transformation forward. From the latest in design, engineering and production software to advances in automation and metrology, Hexagon is taking its #makeitsmarter mission to local manufacturers from coast to coast. Additionally, there are numerous changes in ASME standards that are impacting businesses across the country. Early adopters of these important new standards will realize a competitive edge in the marketplace. Hexagon’s Make It Smarter events will offer exclusive, expert-led training on geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and users master the new ASME standards now incorporated into PC-DMIS metrology software. Attendees will also get a personal look at Hexagon solutions that are specifically designed to maximize manufacturing efficiencies. For instance at select events, the cost-effective TEMPO automated part loading system will be on display. TEMPO enables autonomous measurement free from interruption allowing manufacturers to maintain output even when CMM operators are unavailable
