OMAX to Host 'The Versatile World Of Waterjet' Virtual Event

KENT, Wash. – OMAX has scheduled its next virtual event, “The Versatile World of Waterjet,” which will explore the roles waterjet plays and where it shows up in unexpected places, many of which even experienced waterjet users may not be aware of, including fabrication, education, aerospace, jewelry, television, and movies.

OMAX will host a 1-hour virtual event on May 20, (Provided by OMAX)

The 1-hour virtual event will stream on May 20th at three times: 8am, 11am, and 5pm PDT. Each showing will be exactly the same as the others.

During the presentation, OMAX will be taking you into four different waterjet user’s shops.

  • Showman Fabricators – A New Jersey based shop using their OMAX 80X to fabricate television, movie and theater sets as well as interactive installations for stores and museums.
  • Mitchell Larsen Studio – From Christiansted, Virgin Islands, this glass studio uses their ProtoMAX to cut blanks for flatware, Christmas ornaments, and art pieces.
  • Trupart Manufacturing – Using two OMAX waterjets and 3D printers, this Venture, California company prototypes and fabricates nearly everything from every material available.
  • Holly Yashi – Out of Redding, California, this boutique jewelry creator has pioneered into new and exciting material with their OMAX 2652.
