KENT, Washington – Flow International Corp., a developer and manufacturer of ultrahigh-pressure waterjet cutting systems, has announced the next installment in its online trade show series today, “How JGR Gets to Victory Lane with Flow Waterjet.” Mark Bringle from Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) will share the behind-the-scenes manufacturing processes that are critical to Joe Gibbs Racing’s NASCAR racing victories. The online webinar-style event will take place Tuesday, September 22nd at 11 am (PST).
“Joe Gibbs Racing is an elite racing team operating at the very highest levels of manufacturing excellence,” said Steve Rosenblum, senior director, global marketing & corporate communications for Flow. “We couldn’t be more excited to offer a peek under the hood of JGR’s processes to our friends in the manufacturing community.”
Mark Bringle, technical sponsorship and marketing director, has been a part of Joe Gibbs Racing for 24 years and offers a unique perspective on how precision manufacturing can translate to wins on the NASCAR track. “At this level of competition, every second, every part, every practice – matters. Our Flow waterjet is a workhorse on the manufacturing floor at Joe Gibbs Racing and we’re excited to highlight how its performance contributes to the team’s success,” said Bringle. The online trade show includes live video, expert presentations, and a question and answer session with a panel of waterjet specialists.
Flow launched its online trade show series in early June to deliver educational information to remote audiences, while keeping engagement levels high. “We’re used to face-to-face interaction and live waterjet cutting at trade shows. Unfortunately, that’s not an option right now with social distancing,” said Rosenblum. “However, we remain as committed as ever to delivering helpful information and connecting with the manufacturing community. This event is just one of the ways we are working to help keep our customers informed and moving forward.”
