Officers include Chair, Chair-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Student Chapter Liaison, Officer (these could be specific to the chapter). SME will verify the person is a current chapter officer. Who can submit? Nominations from anyone in the chapter or self-nominations are accepted. What is the submission deadline? Submissions need to be submitted by the 15th of the month to be considered for next month. If there aren’t any submissions for the month, then an officer will not be chosen. How are Chapter Officers of the Month recognized? The Chapter Officer of the Month will be featured in the Chapter Officers Connection, SME’s social media outlets, SME blog posts. In addition, the awardee will receive a certificate and a social post to share.
