The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) is back fully in person after a four-year hiatus, and SME will be in attendance. It’s exciting to be back in Chicago but it’s even more thrilling to have the opportunity to present new products and solutions to the public as well as host numerous member-driven programs. SME will have a presence on the exhibit floor with a total of seven different offerings, everything from virtual reality training solutions to SME member resources and student programming.

SME supports manufacturing based on our core belief: Manufacturing is key to economic growth and prosperity. This is why we understand our presence at IMTS 2022 is imperative. Conferences and tradeshows are perfect for staying up to date with industry trends. This year enjoy a highly immersive experience with SME at IMTS. If you’re looking for hands-on learning, the future of e-learning is virtual reality. Tooling U-SME will be demonstrating their latest VR training offerings that help with upskilling and increased retention for manufacturers. The new immersive virtual reality training curriculum from Tooling U-SME bridges the gap between learning and doing to enhance productivity, increase safety, lower costs, and engage a younger workforce. Our mission at SME is to promote manufacturing technology and develop a skilled workforce and what better way to do that than through workforce development programs from Tooling U-SME?
