The AM Career Development Forum at RAPID + TCT 2022, in Detroit, Michigan, is for college and university students, faculty members and early careerists (emerging professionals). This forum takes place Tuesday, May 17 and Wednesday, May 18.

Join a panel of Additive Manufacturing experts with over a century of collective insight to learn about the technical challenges that have persisted throughout the technologies’ evolution. Composed of experts across generations of SME’s AM Technical Community Leadership Committee advisors, this panel will identify today’s persistent technical and adoption challenges that are critical to AM advancement. By engaging in a conversation about the panel members’ past experiences in overcoming technology and adoption barriers and their vision of what’s coming next, the audience can identify the remaining “grand challenges” of AM, and thus the key opportunities for the next major breakthrough.
