Award winners to be recognized at events throughout 2024 

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., May 31, 2024 – SME, the nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of manufacturing technology and fostering manufacturing and engineering talent and capabilities in North America, has retained global organizational consulting firm, Korn Ferry, to conduct a search to find the nonprofit organization’s next Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

As the U.S. Navy continues to increase investment and commitment to building the resiliency of our nation’s shipbuilding industrial base and supply chain, two non-profit organizations have joined forces to attract and train more individuals to fill critical gaps in the manufacturing workforce and bolster our nation’s defense capabilities.
