In honor of the Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month, we observe the critical role of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders involved in STEM careers supporting the manufacturing sector. Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineers

These SME members are helping shape the future of manufacturing. The 2022 Sandra L. Bouckley Outstanding Young Manufacturing Engineers Award is intended to recognize the exceptional contributions and accomplishments of young manufacturers. Wen Chen, Xu Chen, Kelvin Fu, Jinah Jang, Bo Jin, Xuan Song, Peng Wang, Yang Yang, and Xiaowei Yue are just a few of the young standouts representing the Asian American and Pacific Islander community who won this award in a class full of exceptional award-winning engineers.

Meet the 90th President of SME

SME announced that elevation of president-elect Dianne Chong, PhD, FSME, NAE, to be the 2022 president of SME.
