New President Named to Lead Seco Tools, LLC

Obama Announces Competitions for Two Manufacturing Hubs

President Barack Obama on Dec. 11 announced competitions for two more manufacturing innovation institutes. One will be center on smart manufacturing at the US Energy Department, the other flexible hybrid electronics at the Defense Department. Industrial Production Rises in November

US industrial production rose 1.3% in November amid widespread manufacturing output increases, the Federal Reserve said in a statement on Dec. 15.The gain followed a restated 0.1% increase in October, changed from an initial report of a 0.1% decline. Full Article
