Onsite Training
Where is the on-site training held?
Wherever is most convenient for you. We can conduct on-site training at your facility or at a local hotel in a meeting room.
What is the minimum and maximum number of attendees for on-site training?
Quotes are based on a minimum of 10 attendees. We recommend 25 attendees to ensure ample time for one-on-one interaction with the instructor. However, we can deliver training when there are fewer than 10 attendees. Please email SME Professional Development or call 800.733.4763 for a custom proposal.
How can I obtain a quote for the on-site training course I’m interested in?
Pricing is dependent on the duration of the training course, materials provided, and the amount of customization. Please email SME Professional Development or call 800.733.4763 for a proposal.
Can on-site training be customized?
Yes, we encourage customization to address your processes and challenges.
How is on-site training customized?
We do everything we can to understand your company’s goals for training. Once we have clearly identified your goals, we work with you and the instructor to determine content and focus.
What is the background and expertise level of your instructors?
Our instructors are content and industry experts who have many years of hands-on consulting experience. We utilize a rigorous evaluation process to ensure the most knowledgeable instructors.
Is on-site training interactive?
Yes, our training courses include interactivity and hands-on exercises, when applicable.
Is on-site training available in other languages?
We do offer many courses in Spanish. Please email SME Professional Development or call 800.733.4763 to request a complete listing.

Webinars
How do I register for a webinar?
All upcoming live webinars are listed on our Webinar Central Webpage. Click the link for the event(s) you’re interested in to register. Recordings of past live webinars are available in our SME Training On-Demand Webinar Library.
How many people can attend a webinar I registered for?
A webinar registration provides you with login information for one login site. You may have an unlimited number of participants at this login site.
What if I miss a webinar I registered for?
If you missed a live webinar you purchased, you can still access the content for 180 days (in most cases) from the date of the event. Webinars purchased from the SME Training On-Demand Webinar Library include 180 days of unlimited access from the date of purchase.
Do the webinars provide a method to document my training?
Yes, each webinar provides a Certificate of Completion to document your training. In addition, most webinars offer a post-test.
Can the other people who attend the webinar with me receive a Certificate of Completion?
Attendees who participate with you in a webinar, but have not registered and paid for the webinar, are unfortunately NOT able to receive a Certificate of Completion. To get a Certificate of Completion, a person must be registered for the event and complete the post-test.
If your company purchases a corporate subscription, the subscription tickets can be allocated to different individuals (i.e., staff, team members) who can register for webinars to receive a Certificate of Completion to document their learning.
Do you offer customized webinars?
Yes. Any of our webinar sessions/topics can be customized and delivered virtually to your company or expanded into a face-to-face on-site training program.
Is there a cut-off date/time to register for a webinar?
There is no cut-off date/time when registering online to attend a live webinar. Some webinars allow phone registration, which is available until one hour prior to the start of the live webinar session. We recommend registering for a webinar as early as possible to allow enough time to test your computer and download any software requirements and/or course materials.
What is the difference between a corporate subscription and an individual subscription?
An individual subscription limits access of subscription ticket package(s) purchased to one person’s account and cannot be shared.
With a corporate subscription, the purchaser is able to use subscription package tickets for himself/herself or allocate tickets to other individuals (i.e. staff, team members) to register for webinar sessions. The account holder can monitor the use of tickets assigned to others and access a transcript of training activity.
Can I receive recertification credits for webinar training?
Webinars purchased from the SME Training Webinar Series and the On-Demand Webinar Library Websites offer recertification credit. View the webinar descriptions for specific credit hours offered.
