What is a Cookie?

Does "Sign in" use Cookies?
Yes, "Sign in" uses a Cookie to identify you as a user who has authenticated into the system. This Cookie expires automatically when you quit your browser.
Enabling Cookies on your browser requires that you modify your browser's settings. Enabling Cookies requires you to adjust your browser's settings as follows:
Internet Explorer 6.x and above
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- On the Internet Options window, select the Privacy tab.
* Set the privacy setting for this zone to Medium.
- Then click on the Advanced... button.
- On the Advanced Privacy Settings dialog box that is displayed, make sure under Cookies that Override automatic Cookie handling is unchecked and click on the OK button.
- Click OK on the Internet Options window to exit.
