One of the best ways to begin your technical certification journey is to attend a collaborative, review program. The program is instructor-led and practitioners gain an excellent foundation for completing the full certification program. The interactive group review of principles helps solidify your body of knowledge about key manufacturing concepts while preparing you for the exam.
The classroom review program will help solidify your knowledge with these activities:

The certification exam itself is coordinated directly through SME for an additional fee (over and above the review program cost). Sitting for the certification exam requires advance notification. * Please note that you can use the Fundamentals of Manufacturing 2nd Edition and the Fundamentals of Manufacturing Supplement to prepare for your exam at this time. The 3rd Edition is an updated version of the book and is combining both the 2nd Edition and the Supplement.
Reviewing these materials prior to attending this program is highly encouraged. Recommended materials can be brought and used during the review as well as when you are taking the open-book certification exam.
