Student Robotics Challenge

The mission of the National Robotics Challenge is to provide robotics competitions that will foster an environment where students can develop the creativity, engineering, problem-solving and leadership skills they will need in the world of tomorrow. More
Challenge

WESTEC Manufacturing Challenge

This creative, collegiate-level manufacturing engineering competition allows student club members to choose their own manufacturing project. They then design and build the project for display and evaluation at the annual WESTEC Manufacturing Challenge Contest. Other types of projects, including class projects, funded faculty or department projects and funded research projects, are also welcome as entries in the contest. More

NAMRC Student Research Presentation Contest

The annual North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC) hosts a Student Research Presentation Contest to recognize students' contributions to NAMRC. Encouraging young talents to pursue a career in manufacturing research is of vital importance to the long-term goals of the manufacturing community. More

Design for Direct Digital Manufacturing Competition

This annual competition invites student designers to use their imagination to arrive at an innovative design, which exploits the geometric capabilities of direct digital manufacturing (DDM) to the fullest. Entries are welcome from college/university students and high school students; both categories are judged separately. More
Bright Minds

Bright Minds Mentor Program

Fifty (50) high school students are paired with industry professional mentors who guide them through the annual RAPID Conference & Exposition hall. To enhance their participation, students are provided industry-related materials, parts and scholarship information. The goal of this program is to create future rapid technology professionals and buyers. More
