The Montreal Manufacturing Technology Show (MMTS) is the largest and most important event servicing North America's French Marketplace and the leading event for machine tools and factory automation products and services. The exhibitors are comprised of all of the leading distributors and manufacturers of machine tools in Canada.

The factory automation section of the show continues to bring the leading manufacturers of automation supplies and services. It is the only show in Quebec devoted to the implementation of plant floor automation and control systems. Exhibitors include control systems, manufacturing computer software and hardware, and assembly technology, test and inspection.

MMTS is comprised of three essential components, an exhibition, a dynamic conference and multiple networking and matchmaking opportunities. The components of this event work together to help attendees learn about, compare and implement solutions designed to help their operations become leaner and more flexible - better able to compete within the NEW REALITY created by global competition and outsourcing.

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers recently purchased several Canadian trade shows as part of a major initiative to support Canadian manufacturing companies and their employees.
