Objective
Artists and Designers are to submit images of concept designs or finished pieces (jpeg preferred) for review by advisors along with their credentials.
Submitted art will be displayed open air on a 2’ round / square surface. Artwork should be durable and stable for display. Contact will be prohibited; though minimal security will be provided in the immediate area open to attendees. Artist will assume expenses for shipping work to and from the hotel.
Selected designs will be produced using additive manufacturing processes and featured during the Fashion Show, following the opening Plenary Session, on May 22, 2012. Selected Art designs will be produced for display in the Contemporary Art Gallery.
Finished pieces produced using additive manufacturing processes, may also be submitted for possible inclusion in the Fashion Show.
RAPID assumes responsibility to display your art and fashion designs on models for the show and for display after.

Art Display: Please email your image to training@sme.org after you have completed and submitted this form. Reference RAPID Art Display in the subject line, and include your name and the artwork title in the email. Please limit your file size to less than 1 MB. If your art is selected for display at RAPID 2012, we will request that you provide us with a high resolution image.
Fashion Work: Please e-mail your image for review by advisors to Jamie.milas@materialise.com after you have completed and submitted this form. Reference RAPID 2012 Fashion Show in the subject line, and include your name and the design title in the e-mail. Please limit your file size to less than 1 MB in size. If your design is selected for display at RAPID 2012, we will request that you provide us with a higher resolution image.

The total number of submissions displayed will be determined by the number of pieces submitted.
Designers will be notified of selection by March 5, 2012.
Selected designers will receive complimentary admission to the tradeshow, RTAM Plenary Session on Tuesday, Thursday evening reception anddaily keynote sessions.
