Don't Forget: It's World Quality Month 2012

November is World Quality Month 2012. First celebrated in 2010 by a consortium of quality organizations around the world,the intent of the effort is to reignite the attention paid to quality that once surrounded National Quality Month in the US during the 1980s.  Led by theAmerican Society for Quality (ASQ), World Quality Month is also supported by other North American organizations, including  Excellence Canada and Instituto Mexicano de Control deCalidad, A.C. (IMECCA), among other entities. Groups in South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East are also involved.

According to ASQ, World Quality Month provides a platform for acknowledging the efforts and accomplishments of the Global Quality Community. The main public-facing effortis the World Quality Month Web site. It provides ways individuals and organizations can get involved to promote quality, offers knowledge resources, relates quality success stories and lists events that are taking place around the world to support World Quality Month 2012.
