Five-Axis HMC

T1 five-axis horizontal machining center is designed for high-efficiency machining across a wide range of large part applications. Its rigid design, versatile cutting capabilities and capacious work envelope make it well suited for industrial component manufacturing and aerospace job-shop environments, where machining of both soft and haMakino T1 Five-Axis Horizontal Machining Centerrd metals is required. The T1’s casting and kinematic structure provide accessibility to large prismatic or cylindrical workpieces. The machine features a +45° to -110° A-axis tilting spindle, which, coupled with a deep chest column design, allows a -90° spindle centerline positioning to 550 mm beyond pallet center. As a result, workpieces that are 1-m square by 500—800-mm high can be machined in a single five-sided machining process.
