Star CNC’s New SR-20RIV Offers Many Options
Roslyn Heights, NY — With the introduction of its newest model, the SR-20RIV, Star CNC Machine Tool Corp. reinforces its 64-year leadership in the field of complex machining. Star’s new SR-20RIV machine with additional tool positions and full B-axis on cross working (3 spindle attachment) offers additional capability for machining of very complicated components in one operation.
As many as 41 tools can be accommodated on its 27-position tool station, providing variety of tools for any machining requirements such as: deep-hole drilling, full B-axis machining, with C-axis on main and sub spindle.
Additional features of the SR-20RIV Swiss-Type Automatic Lathe include:
• High rigidity and accuracy, reduced machining time, and improved capability
• A specially-designed tool post for back-working, equipped with Y-axis control function with 8 tool
• Main and sub spindles use built-in motor and sensor to improve indexing accuracy
• Star’s Motion Control System ensures an uninterrupted tool path
