OPC Data Collection

The new version of Prediktor’s Apis OPC UA Trend Historian Lite software is now available via download. This fully functional version of the software with a time limit offers a versatile way of collecting data from OPC compliant servers, storing the information in a high-performance time series database, and making the historical information available for OPC compliant clients. In this context, a time series is an array of numbers indexed by a date time or a date-time range. The time series are often called profiles, curves or trends. APIS OPC Trend Historian is a mature process historian with superior performance and reliability, and the system has a proven record with more than 10 years in mission-critical environments including maritime, offshore, oil and gas drilling and production, paper mills, and a rich variety of process plants from different manufacturing industries. The APIS OPC Trend Historian is available in several editions, both in respect to the number of signals that can be stored, and the number of features available, allowing users to select the system that meets company requirements.
