Hyundai-Wia Makes an Investment in Chicago

Hyundai-Wia has donated one of its new model machine tools, the F 400 VM, to Humboldt Park Vocational Education Center. Park of Chicago's Wilbur Wright College, the school is in the northwest section of the city.
Humboldt Park was chosen over other vocational training programs based on a number of criteria. Among them is the fact that the school regularly place 95 to 100% of the graduates in its manufacturing program in jobs in the industry.

The company is also expected to announce soon that will establish a technical center in the Chicago area. Hyundai-Wia anticipates breaking ground on the facility before the end of the year. Completion is expected to occur before 2014 comes to a close.
