(DEARBORN, Mich. – March 15, 2016) – SME, an organization dedicated to serving the manufacturing industry by promoting advanced manufacturing technology and developing a skilled workforce, is pleased to announce the rollout of a corporate membership program.

A new offering to manufacturing companies, the corporate membership connects companies to tens of thousands of professionals within the SME network who come from all manufacturing disciplines and are committed to cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. Additionally, these companies’ employees will have access to all SME membership benefits, including SME’s training, events, research and publications.

“Manufacturers face many of the same challenges, but each situation has a uniqueness that doesn’t always have a cookie-cutter answer. We are dedicated to finding the right solutions for our corporate members so they can meet their business objectives and succeed in the marketplace,” said Christopher Wojcik, director of SME Membership. “From manufacturing companies who are looking for solutions to fill gaps with qualified professionals to those who need to get their hands on data and real-time trend reports, an SME corporate membership can provide custom-made solutions.”

The corporate membership is available to all manufacturing companies. Companies who have already signed on are General Motors Co., Black Horse, LLC and ROMAC Supply Company, Inc. View their stories at, sme.org/ROMAC and sme.org/BlackHorse.
